What is Bottled Water?
Capping, Labelling & Quality Check
Chlorination:Kills Micro Organisms. Remove Organic Matter
Sand Filter:Removes Suspended matter and turbidity
Activated Carbon Filter:Removes Residual Chlorine and odours
Reverse Osmosis:Removes Organic material. Controls total dissolved solids in the water, free for longer life.
Ultra Violet Radiation Treatment:Removes the bacteria and other micro organisms
Micron Filtration: Additional safety measures to guarantee purity
Ozonation: Ensures water has no bacteria
Effective microbial disinfection in the bottled water and beverage industries is essential.
UV reduces the need for chemicals and can be used to disinfect incoming water, clean-in-place water, waste water, filter systems and the surfaces of packaging.
As UV has no residual effect, the best position for a treatment system is immediately prior to the point of use.
This ensures incoming microbiological contaminants are destroyed and there is a minimal chance of post-treatment contamination.
Unlike chemical biocides, UV does not introduce toxins or residues into water and does not alter the chemical composition, taste, odor or pH of the fluid being disinfected.
There is one filling machine which is used for filling purpose
The different size of the bottles that are filled are of
1 litre Bottle
2 litre Bottle
There is Pouch Filling machine which is used for Pouch filing purpose
The size of the pouch is 250 ml
The size of the jar is 20 litres
The jars are cleaned manually by soap and water
Then it is cleaned with Sodium hypo Chloride which is dis infector
When the jars are passed through washing machine first it is rinsed with hot water, then disinfected and washed with processed pure water
Then jars are passed on to jar fillers where it gets filled and the packing of sealed jars into boxes id done manually
Every hour samples of water that are filled in to the bottles are taken and various testing is done.
First it is checked for odour if any, presence of alkanity, chlorine and calcium.
The water is also checked in machines like PH METER, TDS(TOTAL DISSOLVE SOLIDS), etc
They also do aerobic microbial count and pathogen testing
They also do Chloride, Residual free Chlorine, Color, P.aeroginosa, E-Coli Coliforms, Sulphide reducing anaerobes, Yeast & mold testing
Weekly tests are followed for Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium, Aluminum, Nitrite, Copper and Manganese testing
Capping, Labelling & Quality Check:
After filling process the bottles are then passed transferred to the capping section. Here ozonated-water rinsed caps are screwed on the bottle with uniform torque
All Aharam bottles are labeled after filling
From here on , the bottles go through Screening Lamp for Checking where each bottle is checked for any leaks or breakages
